Even in the middle of a pandemic, the September concerns are still the most essential editions on the print calendar. And this year, editors needed to get innovative. Some September 2020 covers actually struck the mark. But, as typical, some fall totally flat.
Vogue chose to concentrate on hope with a number of its editions, consisting of British Vogue‘s salute to advocacy What actually impresses us about the present crop of September covers is how varied the cover stars are. HunterSchafer wins the month with a set of spectacular Allure covers. Rihanna is (as soon as again) the face of Harper’s Bazaar And Jill Kortleve stars on VogueNetherlands’ newest offering.
On the fashion front, we are both delighted and dissatisfied. InStyle is a clear winner by outfitting Zendaya in 2 striking appearances. Both ELLE Spain and Town & & Country shocked us with their elegant covers. We’re still on the fence relating to VogueParis’ ode to the 80 s, however.
