Q: How did you enter the (diamond/jewelry/ gold) market?
“Throughout college, I operated in sales at a store jewelry shop in theHamptons I definitely loved being surrounded by diamonds all the time and ultimately, the position led me to work as their graphic designer inManhattan Although graphic style was an enthusiasm of mine, I understood assisting customers discover their dream engagement ring was my calling!”
Halo or no halo?
Plain or diamond band?
“I certainly love a super slim, classic solitaire band – preferably in rose or yellow gold!”
Favorite ring style you’ve ever made?
“I am typically not crazy about pear-shaped stones as my hands are a bit too small for the elongated shape – however, I recently made a stunning all yellow gold custom graduating halo setting for a beautiful 2.8ct pear-shaped diamond and it came out absolutely breathtaking! It is truly a one-of-a-kind ring and I love the vintage appeal.”
Piece of jewelry or gold you can’t live without/ use all the time?
White gold, platinum, yellow gold, or increased gold?
“I love to wear yellow on my neckline, but all of my rings with diamonds are rose gold which I personally think makes the diamonds pop! I also have my stud earrings set in platinum, as I think mixing metals is always okay if done tastefully!”
“Going out for spicy margaritas and guacamole or exploring a new part of NYC!”
Favorite part of the task?
“Helping my clients throughout the ring customization process and seeing it all come to fruition – being sent proposal photos from my clients melts my heart! Also, playing with diamonds all day is a girl’s dream.”
